
What i did in my break
Took a break for 10 days after working long with out a break. And gone to Vipassana Meditation.
Idea of meditation came to my mind . I was thinking the world created universities to learn and sell your self and blah... blah about yourself 365x24x7 days. But never found an university which teaches to shut your mind for a while like switching off the mind.
Asked brani.. brani do you know a place where you can switch off the brain. Brani suggested this place in Auckland.
Day 1 to Day 3
Started my first day with observation of breathe and then started observing sensations around the body.
Day - 4
I am thinking for a reason to get out of the course. But got the willpower and told my self to be strong and don't think about the running away and completed the course for 10 days.
Day-5 to Day -10
Observed all the rules and completed my meditation course.
Over all Experience
Mediation trip is very good but it is hard to stay for 10 days in Noble silence and daily 1 hour schedule for 3 hours with out changing the sitting posture . But it is very helpfull and realized why i am unhappy and angry and how to get over them and think with mind rather than senses.
You try to control your mind during the meditation but your mind wanders away. Its like riding wild horse. And slowly realize the power of your mind.
It's Very hard but after 11th day you can feel the joy and happiness.
Be Positive and be equanimity.
